ClauseMeter
ClauseMeter is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy royalty contracts into a clear checklist of what should be paid, when, and how it’s calculated. Users upload a contract PDF and past royalty statements; the app extracts key terms (rates, territories, reserves, recoupment, escalators, audit windows) and builds a “payment expectation model.” Each new statement is parsed and compared against the model to flag anomalies: missing SKUs, suspicious reserve changes, unreported territories, or rate misapplication. It won’t magically prove fraud—royalty data is often incomplete—but it can surface high-probability issues fast and generate a plain-English dispute packet (citations to contract clauses, numbers, and questions to send). It’s designed for creators and small rights-holders who can’t justify expensive auditors for every quarter but still need to catch costly mistakes early.
