ClausePilot is a web app with optional mobile companion that helps freelancers and contractors generate, negotiate, and enforce clearer project terms without needing a lawyer for every job. It turns a short intake (deliverables, revisions, timelines, dependencies, payment milestones, kill fees) into a client-ready contract and statement of work, then tracks changes and approvals in one place. The AI layer flags risky language (unlimited revisions, vague “as needed,” missing acceptance criteria), suggests alternative clauses, and produces a plain-English summary clients can understand. It also includes lightweight change-order flows: when a client asks for “one more thing,” the app drafts a priced addendum and captures approval before work continues. Realistically, it won’t replace legal counsel for complex deals, but it will dramatically reduce ambiguity and the most common disputes for routine freelance work.
