ClausePilot

ClausePilot is a web app (with optional desktop Word add-in) that automates document drafting by turning your approved clause library into a guided, rules-based generator. Instead of “write a contract,” users answer a short questionnaire (jurisdiction, payment terms, data processing, liability caps), and the app assembles a clean draft with tracked sources for every clause. It supports versioned clause packs, fallback logic (e.g., if vendor refuses X, use Y), and red-flag checks against internal playbooks. AI is used selectively: to suggest clause candidates, summarize deviations, and map third-party language to your closest approved alternative—never to invent policy. Exports to DOCX with formatting preserved and a change log for review. Realistically, this wins only if it’s faster and safer than copying from old deals and if implementation is lightweight enough for small legal/ops teams.
