ClausePilot
ClausePilot is a web app (with optional desktop add-on) for translating contracts and policy documents while preserving clause structure, defined terms, and cross-references. Instead of “pretty” translations, it focuses on traceability: every translated segment links back to the source, highlights ambiguity, and flags terms that must stay consistent (e.g., party names, defined terms, jurisdiction phrases). It supports bilingual clause libraries so legal teams can reuse approved translations and avoid rework. The product is a combination app: AI drafts the first pass and suggests term consistency, while humans review with a purpose-built legal QA workflow. It exports clean Word/PDF with tracked changes and a translator’s report (terminology decisions, unresolved ambiguities, and risk notes). Realistically, it won’t replace certified legal translators; it aims to cut review time and reduce costly inconsistencies in multilingual contracting.
