ClauseProof
ClauseProof is a web app (with optional Microsoft Word add-in) that runs a “contract playbook” check on drafts before they go out the door. Upload a DOCX or connect to SharePoint/Google Drive, select your template or clause library, and it flags missing clauses, risky deviations, inconsistent definitions, broken cross-references, and nonstandard fallback language. It produces a short, lawyer-readable report with suggested redlines and a risk score by section, plus an audit trail for who approved deviations. This is a combination traditional + AI app: deterministic rules handle structure (definitions, numbering, cross-references), while an LLM compares clause meaning to your approved variants and summarizes risk in plain English. It’s aimed at small legal teams that can’t justify enterprise CLM but still get burned by sloppy contracting. Pricing is per seat with a document volume cap.
