ClausePulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors bills and turns messy legislative updates into clear, clause-level change alerts. It ingests official bill text versions, amendments, committee reports, and calendars, then produces a clean “what changed” diff with plain-language summaries and citations back to the source documents. Users can set watchlists by bill, keyword, sponsor, committee, or policy topic and receive alerts when a change affects specific sections (e.g., funding thresholds, definitions, enforcement dates). It also provides a timeline view of the legislative process (introduced → committee → floor → conference) with links to primary sources, plus exportable briefings for internal teams. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional pipelines for data integrity and AI for summarization and classification. Realistically, data quality and jurisdiction coverage will be the hardest part, so the MVP should focus on one legislature.
