ClauseRadar is a web app (with optional desktop add-in later) that reviews contracts and flags risky or unusual clauses using NLP. Users upload a PDF/DOCX, select a contract type (SaaS, employment, vendor, lease), and get a clause-by-clause risk map with plain-English explanations and suggested fallback language. It focuses on practical triage: missing terms (termination, liability caps, data processing), one-sided obligations, auto-renew traps, and non-standard indemnities. It also compares against your company’s preferred playbook and highlights deviations. This is an AI app plus traditional rules: AI extracts and classifies clauses; deterministic checks enforce your policy thresholds (e.g., liability cap must be 12 months fees). It’s not a replacement for lawyers; it’s a fast first pass for teams that sign lots of routine agreements and need consistency.
