ClauseRadar

ClauseRadar is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy trade agreements into a searchable, comparable risk map for a specific product, route, and counterparty. Users upload or link to agreement texts (FTAs, customs unions, sector annexes), then the app extracts key obligations: rules of origin thresholds, tariff-rate quotas, safeguard triggers, certification requirements, dispute clauses, and timelines. It flags conflicts between agreements, highlights “gotchas” (e.g., cumulation limits, de minimis rules), and generates a plain-language briefing you can share with legal and ops. This is an AI-assisted app, but it’s designed to be auditable: every answer links back to the exact clause and page. It also tracks updates and sends alerts when a relevant agreement is amended or a new interpretation note appears. Realistically, it won’t replace trade counsel; it will reduce research time and prevent obvious mistakes.
