ClauseRadar is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small businesses and freelancers sanity-check contracts fast. Users upload a PDF/DOCX, pick the contract type (MSA, SOW, NDA, lease, vendor terms), and get a plain-English risk report: missing clauses, one-sided terms, renewal traps, liability caps, IP ownership, payment timing, termination rights, governing law, and dispute resolution. It highlights exact passages, suggests safer fallback language, and generates a short “questions to ask the other side” list. It also provides a negotiation checklist and a red/yellow/green score tuned to the user’s role (vendor vs customer). This is not a lawyer replacement: it’s a triage tool that reduces obvious mistakes and helps users decide when to escalate to counsel. Realistically, accuracy hinges on good templates and guardrails, not magic AI.
