ClauseSnap

ClauseSnap is a web app (with optional mobile scan companion) that converts messy PDFs and phone-scanned contracts into clean, clause-level text with citations back to the original page/line. Instead of generic OCR, it focuses on legal and procurement documents: it detects clause boundaries, headings, definitions, and key fields (term, renewal, liability caps, governing law) and exports them to a structured JSON/CSV plus a human-readable summary. Users can upload batches, apply a template per contract type, and get confidence scores and highlighted OCR uncertainties for quick review. It also supports red-flag rules (e.g., auto-renewal present, unilateral termination) and produces an audit trail so teams can trust what was extracted. This is an AI app + traditional OCR pipeline; it’s not magic—poor scans still require review—but it can cut first-pass contract intake time significantly.
