ClauseTrace is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that converts customer security requirements and contract clauses into a tracked compliance task list. Upload a DPA, MSA, security addendum, or procurement questionnaire; the app extracts obligations (e.g., breach notice windows, encryption, retention, audit rights), maps them to common control frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA), and assigns owners, due dates, and evidence requests. It maintains an obligation register with reminders, change tracking, and an audit-ready history of what was agreed, when it changed, and how you satisfied it. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI accelerates clause extraction and mapping, while deterministic workflows handle approvals, assignments, and evidence collection. It’s designed for small-to-mid SaaS companies that keep losing time to one-off customer demands and missed contractual obligations.
