ClearanceCue

ClearanceCue is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that centralizes music, artwork, brand, and location clearances for indie and small-to-mid productions. It replaces scattered spreadsheets and email threads with a single “clearance ledger” tied to scenes and timecodes: what appears on screen, who owns it, what permission is needed, status, documents, and expiration/territory limits. The app includes an AI-assisted intake that reads scripts, shot logs, and rough cuts’ EDL/timecode notes to flag likely clearance risks (logos, posters, songs, TV playing in background) and generates a prioritized checklist for the producer/coordinator. It won’t magically clear rights—humans still negotiate—but it reduces missed items that cause expensive re-edits, delayed deliveries, or E&O insurance headaches. Exportable reports support distributors, legal, and post supervisors during delivery.
