ClearanceIQ is a web + mobile AI-assisted inspection app for distribution utilities and contractors to manage vegetation clearance and encroachment risk around lines. Field crews capture geo-tagged photos and quick measurements; the system auto-detects conductor proximity, likely species/height class, and flags spans that violate utility clearance rules or are trending toward violation. It generates defensible work orders with before/after evidence, prioritizes circuits by risk (wind exposure, historical outages, customer criticality), and produces audit-ready reports for regulators and internal QA. The realistic value is not “perfect AI”—it’s faster triage, consistent documentation, and fewer missed hazards. Expect some manual review and calibration per service territory; the product should be designed for that. Integrates with existing EAM/OMS via simple exports or APIs so it fits current workflows rather than trying to replace them.
