ClearancePro

ClearancePro is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps people place furniture using practical, code-like clearance guidelines instead of pretty-but-wrong mockups. Users import a floor plan (or quickly trace one), drop in furniture from a built-in library, and the app flags problems: blocked walkways, door swings hitting furniture, too-tight dining chair pull-back space, TV viewing distance issues, and awkward circulation paths. It generates a simple “pass/fail” checklist and a few alternative layouts that prioritize function over aesthetics. The AI component is limited to suggesting layout variants and auto-detecting doors/windows from a photo or PDF; the core value is deterministic rules and measurements. It’s designed for renters and homeowners who are tired of returning furniture, and for small interior designers who need fast, defensible layout validation.
