ClearChain

ClearChain is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for indie and small-to-mid film productions to track, request, and prove rights clearances: music cues, stock footage, artwork, logos, locations, talent releases, and archival materials. It replaces the messy mix of email threads, spreadsheets, and missing PDFs with a single “clearance ledger” tied to scenes, timecodes, and deliverables. The app generates standardized request emails, collects e-signatures, stores agreements, and flags risk items (e.g., logo visibility, unlicensed background music, missing location releases) before picture lock. It also produces distributor-ready clearance reports and an audit trail that’s easy for E&O insurers and legal reviewers to understand. This is partly an AI app: AI helps detect likely clearance issues from uploaded cuts and scripts, but the core value is the workflow, evidence, and reporting that producers actually need.
