CleatCheck

CleatCheck is a mobile + web app for teams and serious athletes to track equipment condition, usage, and safety readiness. Users log gear by scanning a QR label (or barcode), then record quick “post-session” checks (fit, damage, wear, pressure, stringing, cracks). The app estimates remaining life based on usage hours, surface type, and past failure patterns, and it pushes reminders for regrips, re-strings, helmet reconditioning dates, and replacement windows. Coaches and equipment managers get a roster dashboard showing who is cleared, who needs fixes, and what to order next—reducing last-minute scrambles and avoidable injuries. It’s not magic: the app won’t perfectly predict breakage, but it will reliably prevent the common, preventable issues caused by neglect, poor tracking, and inconsistent inspection routines. Revenue comes from team subscriptions and optional QR label packs.
