ClinicCheck is a mobile app (with an optional parent web dashboard) that helps parents monitor a child’s vision and hearing trends between pediatric visits. It offers short, age-banded screening tasks (not medical diagnosis) that can flag “worth checking” changes: letter/shape matching at distance, contrast/brightness sensitivity games, and headphone-based hearing tone sweeps with calibration guidance. Results are stored as simple trend lines and “confidence” notes, with reminders for school screenings and optometrist/audiologist appointments. The app also includes a symptom journal (squinting, headaches, volume creep, inattentiveness) and a shareable PDF summary for clinicians or school nurses. It’s realistic about limitations: home environments are noisy, devices vary, and results can be wrong—so it focuses on repeatable routines and trend detection rather than one-off scores.
