ClipBounty

ClipBounty is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that lets creators and small media teams post “clip bounties” for their long-form videos: specific moments, formats, hooks, and platform requirements. Fans/editors submit short clips, and the creator approves, pays, and exports with auto-generated captions and safe-area layouts. The app tracks performance by requiring creators to post via a unique link or by connecting accounts, then ranks contributors based on real outcomes (views, retention, saves) instead of vibes. It’s not a marketplace for generic editors; it’s a performance-based UGC pipeline for short-form. Realistically, it only works if it saves time and increases output without adding management overhead—so the product focuses on templates, clear specs, and fast review. Monetization: take-rate on bounties plus a small subscription for analytics and team workflows.
