ClipForge

ClipForge is a desktop + mobile companion app that automatically finds “moment-worthy” events in your gameplay recordings (kills, clutches, goals, funny fails) and turns them into short, platform-ready clips. You import a video file or connect supported capture sources, then the app detects spikes in action using audio/visual cues and optional game-specific templates. It auto-crops to vertical for TikTok/Reels/Shorts, adds lightweight captions, and exports in presets that won’t get ruined by compression. This is not a magical ‘become famous’ tool—most clips are mediocre and the model will miss context sometimes—but it can cut editing time from hours to minutes for creators who already record. Monetization is a subscription with a free tier that limits exports and resolution. The MVP should focus on a few popular games/genres and generic detection that works “good enough.”
