ClipGuard

ClipGuard is a mobile + web app that lets parents build a safe, curated video feed for kids without the algorithm roulette. Parents approve channels or specific videos (YouTube, Vimeo links, or uploads), set daily time limits, and choose age bands. Kids get a clean, full-screen player with zero comments, zero recommendations, and no external links—just the approved library. The app also generates simple “what they watched” summaries and flags content drift (e.g., a channel that starts posting older-teen themes). It’s not trying to replace YouTube; it’s a parental control layer that actually works because it’s whitelist-first. Monetization is a subscription per family, with optional school/aftercare plans for shared iPads and classroom viewing.
