ClipRef

ClipRef is a mobile + web app for youth and amateur sports teams to create clean, social-ready highlight clips without a dedicated editor. Coaches or parents upload game footage (or connect a streaming link), mark key moments with one-tap buttons (goal, save, foul, turnover), and the app auto-generates vertical and horizontal clips with scoreboard overlays, player tags, and team branding. It also produces short “story” recaps (15–45 seconds) optimized for TikTok/Instagram/YouTube Shorts, plus a private team feed so families can watch without public posting. This is not trying to beat ESPN; it’s a practical tool for the massive long tail of teams that already record games but never turn footage into content because it’s too time-consuming. Monetization is straightforward: team subscriptions plus optional pay-per-highlight exports.
