ClipShift is a mobile + web AI app that turns full-length hockey game recordings into shareable highlight clips in minutes. Coaches and parents upload a file or connect a live-stream archive link, then the app detects whistles, goals, big saves, penalties, and sustained zone time to generate a timeline of “moments.” Users can quickly confirm or correct events, tag players, and export reels for individual athletes (recruiting) or team recap (social). It also produces a simple game report: shot attempts proxy, special teams segments, and shift-by-shift clip bundles when roster/lines are provided. The honest reality: fully accurate hockey event detection is hard, especially with bad angles and weak audio, so the product must be built around fast human review and editing rather than pretending it’s perfect. The value is saving 70–90% of the manual scrubbing time.
