ClipTactic is a web + mobile AI-assisted video breakdown tool for sub-elite teams that can’t afford Hudl-level workflows or don’t have time for them. Coaches upload game or practice footage, and the app automatically detects key events (shots, turnovers, set pieces, transitions), creates shareable clips, and generates a simple “what to fix next practice” report. It’s not trying to be perfect computer vision for every sport; it’s designed to be “good enough” and editable in seconds. The MVP focuses on one or two sports (e.g., basketball and soccer) to avoid the usual trap of generic, inaccurate tagging. Players get a mobile feed of assigned clips with one-tap acknowledgements and quick quizzes (“What was the read here?”). The goal is to cut film time from hours to 20–30 minutes and make video actually used, not just stored.
