ClipVerify is a web + mobile AI fact-checking tool focused on short-form video and livestream snippets—the format where misinformation spreads fastest and context is easiest to strip. Users paste a link (TikTok, X, YouTube, Instagram) or upload a clip. The app auto-extracts key frames, transcribes audio, and identifies claims (who/what/where/when). It then searches for earlier uploads, full-length source footage, and reputable reporting to reconstruct context, flag edits, and highlight likely manipulation (splices, speed changes, re-encoded segments). Results are delivered as a shareable “Context Card” with citations, confidence levels, and a clear “What we know / what we don’t” section. This is not a truth-or-false oracle; it’s a fast context recovery engine with receipts, built for journalists, creators, and moderators who need to respond quickly without embarrassing mistakes.
