CloseLedger is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) that turns month-end close into a tracked, auditable workflow instead of a messy mix of spreadsheets, email threads, and tribal knowledge. It provides a standardized close checklist by entity, assigns owners, enforces dependencies, and captures evidence (files, links, screenshots) per task. It also monitors key systems (ERP, payroll, bank feeds) for “ready” signals and flags missing inputs before they derail the close. The product is intentionally narrow: it does not replace your accounting system; it orchestrates the work around it. An AI assistant helps draft checklists from prior closes, summarize blockers, and generate variance commentary templates, but humans approve everything. The goal is fewer late nights, fewer errors, and a faster, repeatable close with clean audit trails.
