CloudBillFix

CloudBillFix is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that prevents runaway cloud spend by enforcing “guardrails” across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Instead of yet another dashboard, it focuses on automated, policy-based controls: budget tripwires, service-specific caps, anomaly detection, and safe auto-remediation (e.g., stop non-prod clusters, scale down oversized instances, disable public egress on unknown workloads). It connects via read/write IAM roles and produces an auditable change log so finance and engineering can agree on what happened. The MVP targets SMBs and mid-market teams that can’t justify a full FinOps program but still get burned by spikes. Be realistic: you won’t beat native cost tools on breadth; you win by being opinionated, fast to deploy, and willing to take action automatically (with approvals) rather than just reporting.
