CloudGuard

CloudGuard is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) that watches your AWS/Azure/GCP usage and flags waste and risk in near real time: idle databases, oversized instances, forgotten snapshots, runaway egress, and mis-tagged resources that break chargeback. It focuses on “actionable now” alerts, not pretty dashboards. You connect read-only cloud accounts, set simple rules (budget thresholds, allowed instance families, required tags), and CloudGuard opens auto-generated pull requests/terraform patches or one-click remediation runbooks. It also produces weekly CFO-friendly summaries: what changed, what it cost, and what to fix next. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional collectors and policy engine, plus AI to explain anomalies, draft remediation steps, and translate cost spikes into plain English. Brutal truth: you won’t beat native tools on breadth, so you must win on speed-to-action and clarity.
