CloudIndexr

CloudIndexr is a web app (with optional CLI) that connects read-only to your managed cloud databases and flags the highest-impact indexing and query-plan issues. It continuously samples slow queries, correlates them with schema changes, and generates safe, reversible migration scripts (Postgres/MySQL) plus a rollout checklist. It’s not trying to be a full APM suite; it’s a focused “indexing and query hygiene” tool that teams can adopt without replatforming. The product includes guardrails: it estimates write-amplification cost, storage impact, and lock risk, then suggests online/low-lock alternatives when possible. It also tracks whether recommendations were applied and measures before/after latency and cost. AI is used to summarize query patterns and explain tradeoffs, but the core value is deterministic analysis and measurable performance wins.
