ClusterLens
ClusterLens is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for local health departments and hospital infection-prevention teams to detect abnormal spikes in syndromic signals and lab-confirmed results using simple, explainable methods. It ingests daily counts (ED chief complaints, urgent care visits, lab positives, school absenteeism) and runs lightweight anomaly detection plus space-time cluster scans to flag “worth-a-look” events. The product focuses on operational triage: a single queue of alerts with confidence, affected geographies, likely syndrome, and the exact data points that triggered it. It also generates a one-page incident brief (charts, maps, recommended next steps) and keeps an audit trail for after-action reviews. This is not a replacement for state systems; it’s a pragmatic layer that makes messy, delayed local data usable and defensible for rapid response.
