CoatFitIQ

CoatFitIQ is a mobile + web AI sizing and fit assistant focused only on outerwear (coats, puffers, parkas, trench coats). Users take two quick photos or enter a few measurements, then the app builds a personal “outerwear fit profile” (shoulder width, sleeve length tolerance, layering preference). When shopping, users paste a product link or scan a barcode to get a fit prediction, recommended size, and a “layering score” (t-shirt vs sweater vs hoodie). It also flags common outerwear pitfalls: tight biceps, short sleeves, narrow shoulders, and restrictive chest when zipped. Brands can integrate a lightweight widget to reduce returns and capture fit feedback post-purchase. The app is brutally practical: it won’t pretend to be perfect; it shows confidence levels and tells users when the data is too weak to recommend a size.
