CoatSpec is a web + mobile AI app for luxury outerwear and tailoring brands to reduce costly fit-related returns and remake requests. It creates a “fit spec” per customer by combining a short guided measurement flow, past purchase history, and garment pattern/size data. Shoppers get a clear recommendation (size + suggested alterations) and a confidence score before checkout; sales associates get a quick script and a shareable fit card for remote clients. For made-to-measure and bespoke, the app generates a standardized intake summary that tailors can actually use, not a vague avatar. The product is realistic: it won’t promise perfect body scans; it focuses on repeatable measurements, brand-specific ease allowances, and clear tradeoffs (slimmer vs roomier). Brands see fewer returns, fewer back-and-forth messages, and higher conversion on expensive coats and jackets.
