CocoonLedger is a web + mobile app for small-to-mid silk and insect-product supply chains (silk cocoons/yarn, lac, cochineal, beeswax) that need credible batch records without enterprise software. Users log purchases, batch splits/merges, processing steps (reeling, degumming, dyeing), yields, and basic quality metrics, then generate shareable lot passports (QR) for buyers. It’s not a magic “blockchain solves trust” pitch; it’s practical recordkeeping that makes audits and buyer requirements less painful. The app supports offline capture on phones for field agents, simple photo evidence, and lightweight supplier onboarding via WhatsApp/SMS links. Exportable reports (CSV/PDF) cover chain-of-custody, input/output reconciliation, and compliance checklists (e.g., restricted chemicals declarations). Monetization is per facility or per active lot, priced for SMEs, with optional paid buyer portal access.
