CoCreateKid

CoCreateKid is a mobile + web app that lets kids (6–12) make short videos, comics, and narrated slideshows using a tightly controlled asset library and guided templates. Instead of open-ended editing that leads to frustration or unsafe content, it uses step-by-step “missions” (e.g., make a 30-second science explainer) with guardrails: no public posting, no DMs, no external links, and a parent/teacher approval gate before exporting or sharing. An AI helper can suggest age-appropriate scripts, captions, and storyboards based on a topic, but it never generates realistic faces or pulls from the open internet. Finished projects export as MP4/PDF or share via private family/classroom links. The real value is reducing the time adults spend supervising while still giving kids a sense of creative ownership and a polished result.
