CoCultivar is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps lab-grown and alternative protein teams find, vet, and contract the resources they actually need to scale: cell lines, growth media components, scaffold suppliers, analytical testing labs, and spare bioreactor capacity at CROs/CDMOs and universities. Users post a structured request (volume, specs, timeline, compliance needs like ISO/GLP, shipping constraints), and the platform returns ranked matches plus a lightweight deal room for NDAs, spec exchange, and milestone-based purchasing. It’s not a science “optimizer” that pretends to solve biology; it’s a pragmatic procurement and capacity marketplace with enough technical structure to reduce back-and-forth. The MVP focuses on one painful bottleneck: finding credible capacity and suppliers without weeks of cold emails and conferences. Revenue comes from subscription access for buyers and lead/transaction fees for suppliers.
