CodeCheckAR

CodeCheckAR is a mobile + web app for contractors and designers to validate interior layouts against common building-code constraints early—before rough-in and inspection. Users scan a room with a phone (LiDAR where available), place key fixtures (doors, toilets, sinks, stairs), and the app flags likely violations such as clearance conflicts, door swing clashes, egress width issues, and ADA turning radius problems. It generates a simple “pass/risk” report with annotated snapshots, measurements, and a checklist you can share with clients, subs, or inspectors. This isn’t a replacement for a licensed professional; it’s a fast pre-check that reduces rework. The product focuses on a narrow set of high-frequency rules and trade-specific templates (bathroom remodels, small retail, office fit-outs) rather than pretending to cover every jurisdiction perfectly.
