CohortCanvas

CohortCanvas is a web app for small and mid-sized teams that need reliable descriptive analytics without standing up a full BI stack. Users upload CSV exports from Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, GA4, or their product database, then map columns once (user_id, event_date, revenue, plan, channel). The app generates standardized cohort retention tables, funnel drop-off summaries, revenue by cohort, and simple variance explanations (what changed vs last period) with clear definitions baked in. It focuses on repeatable “board-ready” snapshots: weekly and monthly PDF/slide-ready exports, plus a lightweight dashboard that doesn’t pretend to be a data warehouse. It’s not trying to replace Looker/Tableau; it’s for teams who are stuck in spreadsheets and want consistent metrics definitions, faster reporting, and fewer arguments about numbers. Data can be stored encrypted or processed in a “no-retention” mode for sensitive teams.
