ColdOpen is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for streaming creators and small studios who publish on YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and FAST/OTT platforms but lack real retention intelligence. It ingests your videos plus available analytics exports, then maps drop-offs to specific timestamps and on-screen events (scene changes, long silences, title cards, sponsor reads). The app generates a “Fix List” per episode: where to trim, where to add pattern interrupts, and which hooks actually worked across your catalog. It also benchmarks your retention curve against similar-length videos in your own library, so you’re not chasing generic advice. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles scene/beat detection and generates edit suggestions; the product stays grounded in measurable retention data. It’s not magic—if your content is weak, it will tell you plainly.
