It’s a web app with an AI-assisted writing workflow that pulls from uploaded shapefiles/GeoJSON, precinct election results, and demographic tables, then generates draft public comments tailored to a specific jurisdiction’s legal criteria (e.g., compactness, communities of interest, VRA considerations) and the commission’s submission format. Users can highlight a neighborhood, attach supporting maps/charts, and produce a clean PDF plus a plain-text version for portals. The app includes citation tracking so every claim links back to a source dataset or calculation, reducing “AI hallucination” risk. Realistically, it won’t replace expert counsel or full litigation-grade analysis, but it can dramatically raise the baseline quality and speed of public participation for under-resourced groups.
