CommonGround
CommonGround is a web + mobile app for hosting structured discussions on religion-in-society topics (school policy, public holidays, speech, dress codes) without turning into a flame war. Organizers create a session, invite participants, and choose a “ruleset” (secular public-reason, interfaith, or mixed). Participants submit short claims with required evidence links, then the app guides them through timed rounds: clarify, steelman, challenge, and propose a compromise. An AI moderator flags personal attacks, summarizes points of agreement/disagreement, and generates a neutral “meeting minutes” export for boards, classrooms, HR, or community groups. It also includes anonymous pulse checks to surface minority viewpoints safely. This is not a social network; it’s a facilitation tool with auditability, designed for real-world decisions and documentation rather than endless debate.
