CommsLedger is an internal communications web app (with optional mobile companion) that creates an auditable “source of truth” for critical messages: policy changes, outage notices, security alerts, and HR updates. Instead of relying on unreliable read receipts, it tracks distribution, exposure windows, and lightweight confirmations tied to identity (SSO) and device context. It also supports “required comprehension” checks: a 1–2 question micro-quiz or acknowledgment reason (e.g., “not applicable,” “contractor,” “on leave”). Managers get a clean compliance view by team/location without spamming employees. Employees get a single inbox for mandatory items, with smart reminders that respect shifts and time zones. The system exports evidence for audits and incident postmortems, and integrates with Slack/Teams/email so you don’t need to replace existing channels—just add accountability where it matters.
