CompCheck is a web + mobile AI-assisted car valuation app that generates a defensible price range using real, nearby comparable listings (“comps”) instead of a single opaque number. Users enter VIN or plate, mileage, condition, and key options. The app pulls active listings from major marketplaces and dealer sites, normalizes trims/options, estimates condition adjustments, and shows a transparent valuation with the exact comps used, distance, days-on-market, and price-change history. It also flags suspicious comps (rebuilt titles, bait pricing, missing fees) and suggests a negotiation script based on the evidence. The goal isn’t to beat KBB/Edmunds on brand trust overnight—it’s to give buyers and sellers a printable, shareable “pricing packet” that reduces haggling and wasted time. Monetization: $9 one-off report or $15/month for unlimited reports + alerts.
