CompeteScope is a web app (with optional mobile-friendly portal) that helps employees and recruiters quickly assess non-compete, non-solicit, and confidentiality risk during job transitions. Users upload an agreement, answer a short questionnaire (role, geography, industry, customer access), and get a plain-English risk brief with jurisdiction-specific flags, timelines, and a checklist of next steps. It does not pretend to be a lawyer: it clearly labels uncertainty, highlights missing facts, and recommends when to consult counsel. For teams, it provides a standardized intake form and an audit trail so HR/recruiting can document what was reviewed and what was not. The product focuses on speed, clarity, and defensible documentation rather than “perfect legal answers,” because perfect is unrealistic without counsel and full context.
