CompostProof

CompostProof is a web + mobile app that helps brands, labs, and procurement teams validate biodegradable/compostable material claims with evidence, not marketing. Users create a “material dossier” by uploading COAs, ASTM/EN test reports, resin IDs, additives, and packaging specs. The app normalizes the documents, flags missing tests (e.g., disintegration vs. ecotoxicity), and maps claims to specific standards (ASTM D6400, EN 13432, ISO 17088). It then generates a shareable compliance packet for retailers, municipalities, or customers, including a plain-language summary and a risk score. This is not a magic detector: it won’t prove biodegradation without real test data. Instead, it reduces the chaos of scattered PDFs, inconsistent claims, and procurement delays, and it creates a repeatable workflow for verification and audit readiness.
