ConsentBridge

ConsentBridge is a web app (with optional mobile patient portal) that standardizes, captures, and enforces patient data-sharing consent across fragmented Health Information Exchange workflows. It provides a FHIR-based consent service (FHIR Consent + OAuth2/SMART) that plugs into EHRs, HIEs, and third-party apps, translating messy state-by-state and organization-specific policies into machine-readable rules. Admins can configure consent templates, revocation rules, and purpose-of-use constraints; clinicians can see a clear “can I share?” answer at the point of care; patients can view who accessed their data and change permissions. The product focuses on being a lightweight, deployable layer rather than another HIE network—because competing with incumbents is a losing game. Realistically, sales cycles are long and compliance is unforgiving, but consent is one of the few HIE problems where a narrow product can wedge into existing ecosystems.
