ConsentCircle

ConsentCircle is a mobile + web app for Indigenous and traditional religion communities to document teachings, songs, stories, and ceremony notes with strict, culturally aligned access rules. Instead of “upload and share,” it focuses on consent-first distribution: who can view, when, for what purpose, and with what restrictions (e.g., seasonal, initiated-only, clan-specific). It supports offline capture for remote areas, then encrypted sync when connectivity returns. The app includes provenance tracking (who recorded it, who approved it, what conditions apply) and a “do not export” mode to reduce leakage. This is not a public content platform; it’s a private community archive tool with governance workflows. Monetization is realistic via subscriptions sold to councils, cultural centers, language programs, and research partners under strict agreements.
