ConsentCircle

ConsentCircle is a mobile + web app for new religious movements and other high-control communities to set clear conduct expectations, document consent, and handle complaints with basic process and auditability. Leaders can publish a code of conduct, training modules, and event rules. Members can acknowledge policies, log boundary agreements (e.g., mentoring rules, counseling limitations), and submit incident reports with attachments. A lightweight case-management flow routes reports to designated safeguarding officers with deadlines, notes, and outcomes, while protecting reporter privacy where possible. The app is intentionally pragmatic: it won’t “fix” abusive groups, but it can reduce ambiguity, create paper trails, and make it harder to ignore patterns. It also helps groups that genuinely want legitimacy by demonstrating governance to venues, insurers, and partner organizations. Monetization is subscription per group, with higher tiers for multi-site organizations and data retention.
