ConsentLedger
ConsentLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for documentary teams to manage appearance releases, location releases, archival licenses, and music rights without drowning in PDFs and email threads. It centralizes every consent artifact, ties it to people/locations/scenes, and flags missing or expiring permissions before you lock picture or submit to distributors. The mobile flow captures signatures offline on set, attaches ID photos if needed, and auto-generates a clean audit trail (who signed, when, where, which version). An AI layer extracts key terms from uploaded contracts (territory, term, media, restrictions) and highlights risky clauses, but it doesn’t pretend to be a lawyer. The goal is fewer legal surprises, faster deliverables, and a defensible rights package when festivals, broadcasters, or insurers ask for proof.
