ConsentLedger

ConsentLedger is a web app (with optional mobile patient link) that centralizes patient consent and data-sharing permissions across fragmented healthcare workflows. It captures, versions, and time-stamps consent for common scenarios—HIE sharing, research participation, family access, sensitive data segmentation, and third-party app connections—then exposes a simple API and audit-ready export for compliance teams. The product focuses on being the “source of truth” for consent status, not another EHR. Clinics can send patients a secure link to review and sign consents, while staff can see instantly what is allowed, for which data types, and for how long. It reduces downstream rework (phone calls, rescans, missing forms) and lowers risk when data is exchanged via FHIR, HIEs, or vendor integrations. Expect slow sales cycles and heavy compliance diligence, but the pain is real and recurring.
