ConsentLedger is a web app (with optional mobile admin companion) that helps small and mid-sized companies manage data consent and ethical data-use decisions in a way they can actually defend. It centralizes consent records, purpose limitation, retention rules, and “why we collected this” notes, then produces audit-ready exports for regulators, clients, and internal reviews. The AI component drafts plain-language consent text, flags mismatches (e.g., data collected vs. stated purpose), and suggests retention schedules based on policy templates—but it never auto-approves changes without human sign-off. The app focuses on practical evidence: immutable logs, versioned consent forms, and a clear chain from collection to processing to deletion. It’s not a full GRC suite; it’s a lightweight system-of-record for consent and ethical justification that plugs into existing tools via API and webhooks.
