ConsentLedger
ConsentLedger is a web + browser extension that audits cookie banners and tracking behavior, then generates a tamper-evident “consent receipt” log for each site visit. It’s built for small businesses that are tired of guessing whether their CMP setup is actually blocking trackers before consent. The extension records what scripts fired, what cookies were set, and whether they matched the user’s choice, then syncs a minimal, privacy-safe report to a dashboard. You get actionable fixes (e.g., “Google Tag fired pre-consent on /pricing”) and an exportable audit trail for internal reviews or regulators. This is not magic: it won’t stop every tracker on the internet, and it can’t guarantee legal compliance. It does, however, make compliance measurable and debuggable, which most teams currently lack.
